Privacy Policy

A clear explanation of the information LeadBack uses and why.

Last updated November 6, 2026 · Applies to this website and the current prototype.

LeadBack is a prototype operated by Jesse as an individual. This policy describes its controlled pilot. Public signup and live text messaging are not currently available.

Information we collect

When a caller uses an enabled AI intake, LeadBack may collect the caller’s name, available caller ID or supplied callback number, job description, job location, preferred callback time and an urgency assessment based on the conversation. We also keep call identifiers, contractor association, timing, usage counters, permission decisions and notification status. A caller may decline individual details.

When optional text review is enabled and permission is given, we keep the text destination, permission decision and time, message status, a hashed review-link token and expiry, and any customer corrections with their previous values. Opt-out records help prevent further texts.

If you email support, your email provider sends us your email address, message and anything you choose to attach. Please do not send passwords, payment details, government ID numbers or unrelated sensitive information.

Voice processing

Twilio carries the call and OpenAI processes voice during enabled AI conversations. Voice may be converted to text as part of that processing. This app does not save audio recordings or full transcripts; it saves structured job and contact notes. Providers handle data under their own terms and account settings. We do not promise that providers keep no records.

AI can misunderstand what a caller says, include volunteered information in notes or assess urgency incorrectly. Callers should avoid sharing sensitive information that is not needed for the job request.

How information is used and shared

We use this information to collect the job inquiry, show it to the intended contractor, email the contractor, provide the optional review text, apply corrections, operate the prototype and address support or delivery issues. The intended contractor receives the job and contact details and manages their own follow-up.

Twilio, OpenAI, the email provider and any selected hosting provider process information needed for their service. We may also disclose information where required by applicable law or to address abuse or security incidents.

We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Job-request information is shared with the intended contractor to handle the request, and service providers process it to operate LeadBack.

Optional text review

When enabled, text review requires a separate affirmative response to the receptionist’s permission question. Declining does not prevent leaving a job request. There is no marketing enrollment through this flow. Reply STOP to opt out of enabled texts. You can also email getleadbackai@gmail.com for help.

A private review link normally expires after 48 hours. Anyone with the link may see and change the job description, location and preferred callback time for that one request, so keep it private. The page does not expose other customers’ requests or the contractor dashboard.

Storage and retention

The prototype stores its structured records in a local SQLite database. The app does not encrypt that database itself; protection depends on the operator’s computer, account access, disk encryption and backups. SMTP submission uses STARTTLS, but email recipients and their providers retain their own copies.

Completed local call records are normally eligible for deletion after 30 days. The live worker and live startup perform the deletion; an offline instance may retain them until maintenance runs. Associated review records and correction history are deleted with the call. Review access is separately blocked after its expiry or the retention limit. Minimal opt-out records remain to prevent re-contact. Usage-reservation totals do not reset when leads are deleted.

Previously delivered email, SMS, contractor-held copies, provider records and backups have their own retention and cannot be removed simply by deleting a local LeadBack record.

This website and sample demo

The public-facing pages contain no advertising trackers or analytics and set no tracking cookies. A hosting provider may keep normal request or security logs. The sample text-review demo runs in page memory, sends no messages and clears when reloaded. It does not connect to actual caller records. An email link opens your own email app; you choose whether to send.

Privacy requests and contact

To ask about access, correction or deletion, email getleadbackai@gmail.com. Tell us enough to identify the relevant request without sending sensitive credentials. We may need to verify that you are entitled to the information before acting. We will explain any practical limits, including copies already provided to a contractor or provider.

LeadBack is intended for adult business users and people seeking contractor services. It is not designed to collect information from children. If you believe a child’s information was submitted, contact us.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the prototype develops. The date above identifies the current version. Material changes to the way the service handles information will be reflected in an updated policy and communicated as appropriate.
